Anyone who's into band photography will be interested to know that NME are currently running a photo contest.
There are categories for live performance photography, posed portraits, unstaged documentary-style pictures, and festival photography of all kinds.
If you are aged under 18, there is a separate category for younger entrants, but you may need to provide proof of your age.
To upload your pictures, or vote on the previous entries, you can view the contest's homepage here.
The entry is free, it's easy to log in using your facebook account, and there's loads of lovely Nikon gear up for grabs if you're lucky enough to get shortlisted.
The closing date isn't until 09/09/2013, so you've got plenty of time to take an award-winning photo, if you haven't already got one lurking in your portfolio.
